The areas where they normally spawn are empty, and I never get attacked. They simply aren't there, as if they've all disappeared. Revenge of the Enemies does give Falmer the ability to turn invisible during combat, but they're not just invisible. The main mods I'm running that alter creatures in the game are Requiem and Revenge of the Enemies (along with the compatibility patch for the former). So far this has happened in Shimmermist Cave, Raldbthar, and Arkngthamz. Whenever I enter any dungeon that's supposed to have Falmer, they simply are not there. I've run into a weird glitch that has never happened before, and that nobody seems to have heard of.
(Moderators, feel free to move it if you think it would be more appropriate for the Mods subforum.) I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the Mod-Skyrim section, because although I highly suspect it's related to a mod, it's also possible it's something from the vanilla game that only now resurfaced.
