It's a little soft and thin, and I've noticed that holding the sword too long can sort of loosen it up and make it seem as though it's slipping off. My only complaint about the sword itself is of the leather on the handle. The wall plaque is also way cooler than it has any right to be. The sword is heavy, with a very solid construction that feels great in the hand. The blade, crossguard and pommel are very high quality, but the wolf's head in particular stands out it's just perfect. I can't believe this thing only costs $250.

The wolf is beautiful! it does have a slight opening in the mouth though which cant be seen in the photos which caught me off by surprise. I received #2601, arghh so close to a 2600! I wasn't able to see it until he opened it on Christmas and once he did it was WOW! the sword is absolutely wonderful! The edges of the sword aren't sharp so you can run your hand along the blade though the tip is very sharp so be careful pointing that around. The box was bigger then I expected but it wasn't as heavy. The shipping was really fast! I ordered it on a Saturday and by the following Tuesday I had it delivered.
